We love what we do
E stablished in the garage turned barn turned shop at Apple Ridge, creator Michael Ferrarella originally started woodwork years before he officially expanded from his construction company, Atlantic Construction Concepts. He'd often take scrap wood, old and damage pieces left over from interior and exterior remodels, and so on, tinkering around with ideas in his shop on rainy days until he created something great. Over the years, this went from being a hobby into becoming the foundation for Wantage Woodshop.
C ustom woodwork grew from there, and eventually Michael's own ideas also became a part of his shop. Leftover wood scraps turned into decorative pieces for the home and farm, and the shop started to grow.
In addition to housing Michael's wood working tools and area, the shop also welcomes the family's goats, cats, dogs, ducks, chickens, and even the family pig. You could say that he always has supervision whenever he works!
From start to finish, every piece is crafted with a painstaking attention to detail and a true affection for the work at hand. We're sure you'll love the Wantage Woodshop creations as much as we love creating them.
Custom woodwork is our passion
Our goal is to bring high quality, custom woodwork to you at an affordable price. Our products are built to last, and whether you are looking for a gift idea and want to choose from our handmade items, or develop something custom entirely to you, we are up for the job!
Friends with many equestrians, the requests started pouring in for custom tack trunks. People then wanted hooks for their houses to hang keys and jackets that were better made and looked nicer than what you could find in store. Furniture restorations became a specialty. And if you needed it built and had an idea, Michael could make it come to life in the shop at Apple Ridge.
